Football is back baby!

The best time of the calendar year is finally underway as we had plenty of college football to go around.

Starting on Friday night, Rutgers came away with a 48-21 season opening victory over UMass at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, NJ. The local South Jersey products were on display under the lights. Vineland graduate Isaih Pacheco starred at RB for the Scarlet Knights as he finished with 156 yards rushing and a career high four TD. Cedar Creek alum Bo Melton had his best day at WR. The junior finished with a career high 127 yards on six catches and caught his first collegiate touchdown. New Rutgers QB McClane Carter, a Texas Tech grad transfer had 340 yards, two TD, and three INT.
