Chase Utley is appealing his two game suspension and thus will be eligible to play in Game 3 tonight.

MLB tried to expedite the appeal before tonight's game but was unable to do so.

Utley issued a statement at Citi Field prior to the game and reiterated the "terrible" feeling he has for Ruben Tejada's injury:

“The Players Association and my agent are handling the appeals process. I have nothing more to say other than to reiterate that I feel terrible about Ruben’s injury. Now my teammates and I are focused on Fame 3 and doing everything we can to win this series.”

Typical Chase Utley.

It is uncertain if Utley will start tonight in Game 3, his numbers at Citi Field say he should.
