Costello’s Pizzeria Smithville Grand Opening Date

Right after the calendar flipped to 2026, the popular pizza shop, Costello's Pizza, closed its Smithville doors for good.

From Village Greene to Smithville Square: The Move

That shop was located in the Historic Smithville-Village Greene at 615 Moss Mill Road

Shortly after that, they began teasing a move to a new location, and revealed on January 15th they would be moving to the Smithville Square at the former Bellino’s Market location, which closed last year, at 45 S. New York Road.

Grand Opening Details: When and Where to Visit

On Monday, they announced when the new spot will be open in a social media post, saying the grand opening will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Our grand opening is Wednesday March 25th at 11:00AM! Located at 45 S New York Rd Galloway, NJ

Full menu will be released today at 12:00PM!

We apologize if yesterday caused any confusion it was our friends and family opening! We’re so excited to see you all Wednesday!

The restaurant did have a soft "friends and family" opening this week, but will now be open to the public starting on Wednesday.

Other Costello’s Pizzeria Locations in Atlantic County

In addition to the new Smithville spot, Costello’s operates two other locations: one at 421 Chris Gaupp Dr. in Galloway and another at 30 N. White Horse Pike in Hammonton.
