Who’s Hosting the Tournament?

The PBA Local 59 is having a crab tournament in conjunction with the Saltwater Outpost on Saturday, August 9th, 2025 at the Saltwater Outpost at Hereford Marina, located at 982 Ash Avenue in North Wildwood.

BA Local 59 Serves the Officers of Avalon, Cape May, Lower Twp, Middle Twp, North Wildwood, Cape May County Sheriff, Wildwood Crest and Stone Harbor.

Registration Costs and Team Info

Teams can register with anywhere from 1-4 participants, with each registration costing $25.00 per person.

There will be cash prizes available for the largest/longest crab measured point to point, caught on land and by boat.

Rules for the event are listed below. 

  1. All New Jersey Blue Crabbing Regulations must be followed.
  2. Absolutely no commercial pots.
  3. Only male crabs may be checked in, no female crabs.
  4. Cash prizes for largest/longest crab (measured point to point) caught by Land and Boat. Each team will check in their largest crab, kids bracket for largest crab and prizes available.
  5. Door prizes available, each team entry included for chance to win.
  6. Early registration to be completed on Run-Sign up Website. In person registration will be available at later date.
  7. Day of check-in will begin at 7:00 am on August 9th, 2025.
  8. This is a rain or shine event. There is no rain date.
  9. Come hungry and enjoy: Food truck will be at the after party.
