Eagles' best number: 2 (Jalen Hurts rushing touchdowns)
Eagles' worst number: 2 (Jalen Hurts interceptions)
View from my living room:
I prepped for the Eagles game by buying a Christmas tree. Kudos to Church's Garden Center in Lower Township for all their help in securing two trees - one for me and one for my sister-in-law loaded atop our SUV.
Three stars
- Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock (22-for-33, 208 yards, game-winning TD pass).
- Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (game-winning TD reception).
- Seahawks safety Julian Love (2 interceptions).
Eagles' best play
Hurts answered the questions about his sketchy health with a 20-yard gain on the Eagles' first series.
Eagles' worst play
Smith-Njiba got just enough daylight against Eagles cornerback James Bradberry to haul in a 29-yard TD pass from Lock with 28 seconds left in regulation to give the Seahawks a 20-17 lead.
Turning point
The Eagles were making a late move to at least get close enough for place-kicker Jake Elliott to attempt a game-tying field goal before Hurts threw deep toward wide receiver A.J. Brown. Love made a leaping interception to foil the comeback.
