Downbeach Coaches vs. Cancer Returns to Margate for 14th Year

The annual Downbeach Coaches vs. Cancer event to support the American Cancer Society is taking place starting Thursday and ending on Sunday at Jerome Avenue  Park in Margate.

Taking a Swing at Cancer: The Event’s Mission

The event's goal is to raise funds, honor lives, and take a swing at cancer.  Each game has a first-pitch from someone whose lives shave been impacted by cancer.

So far, over $20,000 has been raised for the American Cancer Society.

The event, now in its 14th year, started in Millville, moved to Mainland Regional, and has now found a home in Margate.
