The Eagles made a trade bringing in defensive back Daryl Worley on Friday, sending wide receiver Torrey Smith to Carolina.

With Worley in the fold, there is an abundance of corners in the mix, including Sidney Jones, Rasul Douglas, Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills. However, that doesn't mean that they will let free agent Patrick Robinson walk.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport the Eagles are "working to retain" free agent CB Patrick Robinson.

Robinson is an important part of the Eagles secondary, playing in the slot. None of the above mentioned guys are really suited to play the slot, making Robinson a valuable piece of the Eagles defense.

If the Eagles were to lose Robinson, 31, in free agency, they would still have to look to replace him, by adding another cornerback.
