Eagles Beat Cowboys With The Locker Room Crew In The Building
Before the game started on the Opening Night of the 2025 NFL season, the Eagles and their fans celebrated by raising the Super Bowl 59 banner.
Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie along with Former Eagle Great, and fan favorite Brandon Graham carried both Super Bowl trophies out onto the field.
The reigning NFL champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, started their season without their best defensive lineman. Jalen Carter was ejected before the first snap.
Despite not playing their best and enduring a one hour weather delay, along with A.J. Brown only having one catch for eight yards, the Birds repelled a stiff challenge by the Cowboys in a 24-20 hard fought win on Thursday Night.
Thursday started off great with the Phillies beating the team with the best record in baseball. The Milwaukee Brewers fell to the Phillies, who took two of three games from the Brewers. Ranger Suarez pitched well again, throwing six scoreless innings, and lowered his ERA to 2.89.
In Ranger’s last four starts, he is 3-0 with a 1.09 ERA, and without Zack Wheeler available for the rest of the season, Ranger Suarez needs to continue to step up. With 22 games left in the regular season and six games up on the New York Mets, the Phillies magic number drops to 13. We will cover it all this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.
On Saturday’s show, Producer Nick Earnshaw and former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dave Klemic will join me in the studio. We will recap the Eagles' first win of the season against the Cowboys. The Locker Room crew was there, so we will have plenty to talk about.
