Eagles elevate two players from practice squad for Falcons game

With A.J. Brown ruled out for the Philadelphia Eagles Monday Night tilt with the Atlanta Falcons, the team has elevated wide receiver Paris Campbell from the practice squad to the active roster.

The team also elevated offensive lineman Nick Gates and tight end E.J. Jenkins and waived linebacker Patrick Johnson.

Brown is out with a hamstring injury and will be very difficult to replace, but Campbell gives the team a veteran presence. Look for DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert to have larger roles in the passing game along with Jahan Dotson.

Gates gives the team some depth along the offensive line and would be the backup center in something were to happen to Cam Jurgens.
