The Philadelphia Eagles are headed to New Orleans to play the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.  Eagles fans are feeling the intensity build as we get closer to the big game.

I will be headed to Radio Row on Tuesday with Mike Gill, Nick Earnshaw, and Pete G as part of the 973 ESPN and The Sports Bash crew.  Super Bowl 59 will be a rematch from the 2022 season in which the Chiefs won 38-35 in Arizona.  We will bring you comprehensive coverage all week and have interviews to play next weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.

The Locker Room with Billy Schweim will be broadcasting Live from the Chicken or the Egg for our Super Bowl pregame show on Sunday, Feb 9th from 10 am to Noon on 97.3 FM ESPN Radio South Jersey.

The Philadelphia Flyers made a major trade Thursday night after being shut out by Josh Harris owned New Jersey Devils 3-0.  The Flyers traded Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee to Calgary for Andrei Kuzmeko and Jakob Pelletier plus two draft picks in the 2025 and 2028 drafts.

The Sixers have won their last four games without Joel Embiid and Paul George. The 76ers led by Tyrese Maxey hold the 11th place in the eastern conference, right outside of the play-in tournament.  The Sixers face the Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks with their next three games.  Will Embiid and Paul George play? These next three games will tell us a lot about the Sixers ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline next week.

On Saturday’s show producer Nick Earnshaw and former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dave Klemic join me in the studio. We will talk about Super Bowl LIX.  We will talk with NFL strength and conditioning coach Jeff Hurd.  Coach Hurd has worked with several NFL teams but mostly with the Kansas City Chiefs. In Hour Two we will hear from Mr, Negadelphia P.J. Corda brought to you by the Galloway Pool Service. Next we will have our “High School Athletes in the spotlight” with Fran Mclaughlin brought to you by the Philly Pretzel Factory of EHT.

On Sunday's show producer Danny Ryan joins me in the studio.  We will get the “Keys to the Game” with Fox 29 news sports anchor Scott Grayson brought to you by Blitz’s market in Ocean City. Then we will hear from Legendary sports radio talk show host Tony Bruno.  We will recap the Sixers weekend plus plenty of Eagles conversation to get you pumped up for Super Bowl LIX.

All that and more this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to Noon on 97.3 FM ESPN Radio South Jersey.
