Wide Receiver Greg Ward has signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with the Eagles and will be under contract through next season.

Exclusive-rights free agents are players with fewer than three accrued NFL seasons whose contracts have expired. Ward was signed by Philadelphia as an undrafted rookie in 2017.

He’s has turned into one of the Eagles most reliable wide receivers the last two years, totaled 81 catches for 673 yards and seven touchdowns.

Philadelphia lost DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery this offseason, which means Ward has an opportunity for an even bigger role in 2021 with Jalen Reagor, Travis Fulgham and J.J Arcega-Whiteside returning.

Ward will make $850,000 in 2021 before becoming a restricted free agent next offseason.
