The Philadelphia Eagles are getting ready to play in New York against the Giants but will be missing a few key guys on Sunday.

The team's injury report has a few new names on it this week, headlined by defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who did not participate with a shoulder injury.

In addition to Carter, some other key names landed on the list, including Dallas Goedert (hamstring), T Jordan Mailata (hamstring), CB Eli Ricks (groin), and CB Darius Slay (knee).

With Mailata out, expect veteran Fred Johnson to fill in at left tackle and Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll to take over the snaps for Goedert at tight end.

If Slay can't go on the corner, Isaiah Rodgers would likely start with Kelee Ringo also helping out.

The rest of the injury report looks like this:

  • LIMITED – LB Oren Burks (groin), DT Milton Williams (ankle), DT Byron Young (hamstring)
  • FULL – S Sydney Brown (knee), OLB Jalyx Hunt (ankle), TE Albert Okwuegbunam (abdomen), WR Ainias Smith (ankle)

If William can't go, coupled with Carter's status, you could see more of Moro Ojomo and Thomas Booker IV. We also could see the debut of safety Sydney Brown this week, after coming back and missing the first five games after ACL surgery at the end of last season.
