Eagles Undefeated Kelly Green Streak on the Line in 2025

When Philadelphia Eagles Owner Jeffrey Lurie changed the team's primary uniform colors from Kelly Green to Midnight Green, it was a symbolic gesture that the organization was going in a new direction.

Since making the change, the Eagles have won the NFC East Divisional Title eleven times, have reached the Super Bowl four times, and won Philadelphia's first two Super Bowl Championships in Franchise History.

Despite all of the success with the Midnight Green uniforms, many fans are still have a nostalgic affection for the Kelly Green uniforms. From 1948 to 1960, the Philadelphia Eagles won three NFL Championship Titles, but did very little winning in the following 35 years while wearing those Kelly Green uniforms.

The NFL changed their rules about uniforms and helmets ahead of the 2022 season, allowing teams like the Eagles to use alternative uniforms with helmets that are not the same design and colors as the primary uniforms. This is when Eagles owners Jeff Lurie gave the fans what they had been asking for.

The Return of Kelly Green Uniforms and 2025 Schedule

Since bringing back the Kelly Green uniforms for the 2023 NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles are now 4-0 when wearing those colors.

Some of the iconic moments while wearing those uniforms include:

*The Eagles' Overtime Victory over the Buffalo Bills in the messy weather with Jalen Hurts game-winning touchdown run in front of a raucous Lincoln Financial Field crowd
*Running Back Saquon Barkley hurdles backwards en route to the Eagles' win in 2024 over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In 2025, the Eagles' Undefeated Kelly Green Uniforms are scheduled to be worn against their NFC East rivals in three games this season:

*October 26th versus New York Giants (Week 8)
*November 23rd at Dallas Cowboys (Week 12)
*January 4th versus Washington Commanders (Week 18)

This is the first time since December 1995 that the Eagles will be wearing Kelly Green colors for a road game. I wonder how many Eagles fans have the November 23rd game in Dallas circled now that they know their favorite uniforms will be worn in enemy territory.
