Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean left Sunday's game against the New England Patriots in the second half on Sunday.

He is listed as questionable to return with a foot injury.

Dean ranked second on the team, with seven tackles in the game.

Dean was making his first start as the team's starting linebacker after being drafted in the third round in the 2022 draft out of Georgia.  He takes over from T.J. Edwards who left in free agency and signed with the Chicago Bears.  The team also lost starting linebacker Kyzir White, who signed with Arizona in the offseason.

Christain Ellis replaced him at linebacker. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2021 by the Minnesota Vikings out of the University of Idaho.

Update: Dean did not return to the game and was seen wearing a walking boot after the game in the locker room.
