The Philadelphia Eagles have released safety/special teamer Andre Chachere, according to a tweet from the team on Monday.

Chachere had spent the last two seasons in Philadelphia as mainly a special teams player, appearing in 23 games over the past two seasons.

Chachere, 27, went undrafted out of San Jose in 2018 and has played for Houston, Detroit, Arizona, Carolina, Indianapolis and Philadelphia.

He had the best year of his career in a Eagles uniform in 2021 when he posted 15 tackles in 16 games played.

Chachere was in a crowded room with a lot of young new faces, including rookie Sydney Brown, they signed Terrell Edmunds and Justin Evans as free agents. Plus holdovers, Reed Blankenship and K'Von Wallace in the safety room.
