The Eagles have requested to interview ex-Giants coach Tom Coughlin for their head-coaching vacancy. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the two sides will meet Monday, but says it will be "more of a feeling-out" than an interview.

Coughlin started his career in Philly as a wide receivers coach, and are doing their due-diligence by bringing the former Giants coach in, he knows the division well and could provide a lot of information and knowledge. The could be talking to Coughlin to get more information on Ben McAdoo, who met with the team on Thursday.

A two-time Super Bowl champion, Coughlin, resigned form the team after 12 years and four straight years without making the playoffs.

Coughlin has compiled a 169-146 record in his long coaching career, including a 102-90 mark with the Giants.
