Eagles Send Goodwin Back to SF
The Philadelphia Eagles are now cap compliant.
After a odd situation resulted in the Eagles and 49ers 2020 draft day trade, sending wide receiver Marquise Goodwin back to San Francisco.
Goodwin was traded to the Eagles with the two teams swapping sixth-round picks.
So with Goodwin heading back to San Francisco, the Eagles add another seventh-round draft pick, per the terms of the original deal and clear $4.28 million in cap space.
Goodwill never actually appeared in a game with the Eagles, opting out due to Covid-19 concerns.
