The Eagles agreed to terms with quarterback Chase Daniel, formerly of the Chiefs, on a multi-year contract.

Yesterday it was reported by FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo that Daniel landing in Philadelphia, reuniting with new Eagles head coach Doug Pederson, was a possibility - today that happened.

The links between Daniel and the Eagles have been flying since Pederson left Kansas City, Pederson recently said he believes Daniel is "more than a backup," but that is the role he most likely will play initially play with Sam Bradford back as the starter.

This could signal the end of Mark Sanchez stay in Philly, his $4.5 million is a lot for a backup quarterback.
