Jalen Mills will be back with the Eagles in 2020, Malcolm Jenkins will not.

The Eagles appear set on bringing back Mills with a one-year, $5 million deal and per Mike Garafolo from the NFL Network it will be a "hybrid role" between corner and safety.

Mills was scheduled to become a free agent, and is just 25 years old.

So if he is moving to safety what does that mean for Malcolm Jenkins?

It appears Jenkins' time with the Eagles might be coming to an end, the team announced today they will not exercise his 2020 contract option, making him a free agent.

Jenkins had previously threatened to hold out at his current $7.6 million base salary, and was asking for a new deal. The 32-year-old safety rarely misses a snap and played multiple positions on Jim Schwartz's defense over the years.
