On Wednesday afternoon the Eagles added former Atlanta Falcons slot wide receiver, Olamide Zaccheaus, to their wide receiver room.

On Thursday it seems Quez Watkins had a response in a social media most, saying: "I'm going to make y'all eat every (bleeping) word!"

Zaccheaus had a solid season with the Falcons. While Atlanta did not have the best quarterback situation, he still was able to reel in 40 balls for 533 yards and three three scores.

Watkins, who is a former sixth-round pick, had 33 catches for 354 yards and three scores.  He saw his production take a big hit with the addition of A.J. Brown, his yards went from 647 to 354 in 17 games.  His targets went from 62 down to 51.

How will Zaccheaus effect his role should be an interesting story at training camp.

Watkins, who is entering the final season of his deal, has had some issues with both drops and making catches on contested balls.

He had a huge drop in the Eagles biggest game of the season.

Zaccheaus has three dropped passes in four years as a pro, while Watkins has six drops in just three seasons, including three last season.

The speedy wide receiver will have some real competition for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart in 2023.
