The Philadelphia Eagles just won a Super Bowl, but will likely need to replenish some talent on the roster.

The team has some key free-agent decisions to make, including Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, Zach Baun, and Mekhi Becton all hitting the open market.

With the NFL Draft just over two months away and the season now in the books, it is mock draft season. ESPN’s Field Yates posted his post-Super Bowl mock draft, with the Eagles officially picking at No. 32.

When Mel Kiper Jr. posted his most recent mock draft after the college football championship game, he had the Eagles selecting Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant, with the thought he could replace Milton Williams. Yates thinks the team will need to replace Baun and select Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell with pick 32.

This Super Bowl champion Eagles team could sustain its success for multiple years, but it will have a few areas to address this offseason to stay on top. With Zack Baun scheduled to be a free agent (and earn a huge pay raise) and Nakobe Dean's patellar tendon injury, Philly could add the best inside linebacker in the class in Campbell.

With Baun making the linebacker position cool again, it’s definitely possible that the Eagles could do something they haven't done in a long time, take one in the first-round. However, replacing Baun, will not be easy if he in fact leaves in free agency.  He was a first-team all-pro selection this season and gave the team solid play against both the run and the pass, something Yates thinks Campbell could provide.

His sideline-to-sideline range shows up against both the run and the pass. And as a bonus: Campbell showed some juice as an occasional pass rusher at Alabama. He had 112 tackles, 12 run stops and 5 sacks this season.

Obviously, losing Baun is not an ideal situation, but the team did let T.J Edwards walk after making the Super Bowl two seasons ago in free agency for less money than Baun could command on the open market this season.

Campbell had a monster year, with 112 tackles (including a team-high 11.5 for loss ) and five sacks this season for the Crimson Tide.

Oren Burks is also a free agent, and Nakobe Dean might miss time recovering from his torn patellar tendon, which likely will have him miss the start of the 2025 season.

He’s also the only linebacker off the board in the first round of this mock draft from Yates, so if the Eagles need one, they might be getting the pick of the litter.
