Philadelphia Flyers head coach Peter Laviolette called in to talk about the NHL finally being back on the ice after a long lockout. Laviolette said that they haven't named a captain yet as they haven't even been on the ice as a team or had any formal meetings. Laviolette also said that he knows how to coach a shortened season not from a lockout standpoint, but from coming in as a replacement head coach with 38 games left in a season.
