For the last few weeks, it looked like Corban Knight had earned himself a spot on the Flyers roster. Those dreams may have come to an end.

The Flyers announced that Knight will be out for three weeks with an upper-body injury, after leaving Thursday's game early.

Knight had a goal and two assists in four preseason games with the Flyers and was starting to carve out a role on the team's fourth line. He was also getting time on the penalty kill during the preseason.

In addition, the Flyers also recalled defenseman Phil Myers from the Phantoms for Saturday's game against the Bruins. Myers was cut from the training camp roster on Tuesday, but perhaps is getting a second look with one final preseason game.

The Flyers close out the preseason against the Bruins at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
