On Thursday night, the Flyers staved off elimination in Game Six with a dramatic win over the NY Islanders in the second overtime period!  Ivan Provorvo was one of last night's heroes with a shot from the top of the slot at the 15:03 minute mark of the second overtime becoming the third longest game in Flyers history.

This Saturday marks the 145th Kentucky Derby “Run for the Roses” at Churchill Downs. This race, which usually runs the first Saturday in May, was rescheduled for Sept 5th this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.  The Kentucky Derby will be the second leg in the 2020 Triple Crown series. On tomorrow’s show we will talk with Jeff Nash of https://www.fastlanehandicapper.com/ to get some tips on this year's field of twenty horses and find one that stands out from the rest; Jeff will check in with us at 10:30am tomorrow. 

Finally, its Labor Day weekend and I can't believe the Summer flew by.  The Legends of Lifeguard Racing segment comes to an end with our last installment: Tom McCann is a former Chief of the Sea Isle Beach Patrol, he will join us at 11:30am to recap all the great moments and competitors from years past. The South Jersey Lifeguard Races started back in 1924 and there have only a few races that were canceled in its rich history including this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  Tom will shed light on some of the best finishes over the years. All the action starts tomorrow at 10am 97.3 ESPN!
