Welcome to another edition of Flyers Files, an exclusive podcast available only on 97.3 ESPN. The Flyers snapped their six-game losing streak last Saturday and now have three wins in the last four games.

A big reason for those wins has been the play of Sam Ersson. Ersson had a shutout against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night and followed it up making 20 saves on 21 shots in a win on Thursday against the Blues.

While Ersson seems to be finding his footing, the Flyers goaltending situation continues to evolve. Aleksei Kolosov has made his way to the NHL, debuting on Sunday night in a loss to Montreal. With Ersson showing signs of a hot hand at the moment, when can we expect to see either backup option in goal again?

The Flyers also got two wins this week with limited scoring, but are hoping that a goal can unlock something for several players. With Tyson Foerster, Joel Farabee, and Bobby Brink all on the board in the last two games, the Flyers are looking to turn that into more depth scoring.
