Fans of both the Sixers and Flyers will be busy on Saturday night.

The Philadelphia Flyers already know their opponent in the second round of the NHL playoffs, the Carolina Hurricanes.

Now they know when Game 1 will be played.

Flyers vs. Hurricanes: Second Round Game 1

Philadelphia beat Pittsburgh 1-0 in overtime on Wednesday night to close out their Round 1 series, taking it four games to two. However, there will be no rest for the weary here, as the Flyers will head to Raleigh for a Saturday night 8 p.m. game with the Hurricanes (Listen on Rock 104.1).

With the win, the Flyers move on to the second round for the first time since 2019-20 (lost to Islanders, 4-3); and will face the top-seeded Hurricanes (went 1-0-3 vs Carolina this season).

Whoever emerges will head to the Eastern Conference Final, one series away from playing for the Stanley Cup.

The loser heads home.

The full schedule for the second-round series is not available at this time, but we will post it when it is released.
