Flyers-Maple Leafs Preview: Ten to Go
The Flyers embark on the final 10 games of the 2024-25 with the final game of a five-game road trip on Tuesday night. So far, the Flyers are 0-3-1 on the trip.
It's been a struggle for the Flyers in March, as they have lost 10 of their last 11 games, going 1-9-1 in that time. The Toronto Maple Leafs had a three-game winning streak snapped on Saturday. They remain very much alive in a race for the Atlantic Division title, just two points behind the Florida Panthers.
Game time is 7 p.m.
Travis Konecny started to find the scoring touch again in the last two games, picking up two goals and three points. In the previous 10 games in March, Konecny had just two assists. Konecny had a two-goal game against Toronto on Jan. 7.
Auston Matthews has started to find his scoring touch again. Since Jan. 22, Matthews had scored three goals in 16 games before finding the net four times in a three-game streak from March 15 to 19.
Sam Ersson gets the start for the Flyers. Ersson entered Saturday's game against Dallas in relief of Ivan Fedotov, stopping all 15 shots in the final two periods before allowing the game-winning goal on the opening shot of overtime.
Anthony Stolarz gets the start for the Maple Leafs. Stolarz made 27 saves on 30 shots in a win over the Rangers on Thursday, snapping a personal four-game losing streak. He had won four straight starts prior to that.
