Following another rather uninspired loss on Tuesday night to the Penguins, the Flyers made a roster move on Wednesday afternoon.

The team recalled forward Tyrell Goulbourne from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Goulbourne, 23, was a third-round pick of the Flyers in the 2013 NHL Draft. In three seasons with the Phantoms, he has 14 goals and 15 assists for 29 points in 131 AHL games. He also has 137 penalty minutes in that time.

The 6'0", 200-pound winger played in juniors for Kelowna in the WHL, scoring 60 goals and posting 125 points as well as 461 penalty minutes in 275 games.

Goulbourne will be available to make his NHL debut on Thursday night's game against the Islanders and will wear No. 56.

Goulbourne's recall does not come with any corresponding move. The Flyers did not have anyone absent at their Wednesday practice with injury, so this is just a straight call-up for Goulbourne.
