Former Mainland High student dies in car crash
A former Mainland Regional High School student and Egg Harbot City resident died in a car accident on Route 206 in Burlington County on Thursday morning.
According to police, Michael Kravchak, 47, struck a traffic light pole and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kravchak was a local real estate agent who went by the “Not Your Average Realtor” moniker. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan and a fan of all Philly sports teams.
He was big into horse racing and even worked in the horse racing field for years before becoming a real estate agent in 2020. He became well-known and had a tremendous following in the real estate community by using social media and even gained attention for a billboard that he used in the area.
His fiancè, Erika, posted a Go Fund Me Page on social media to help raise funds for his family.
To all of you who may not know me, my name is Erika and I am the fiancé of Michael Kravchak. On Thursday, September 5th, I was met at work with two police officers who broke the most unthinkable news that Michael had been involved in a motor vehicle accident and had passed away. To say this has brought such confusion and devastation is an understatement. The man whom I was planning my future with, the man I just bought a house with, was no longer here. We had just begun our new chapter in our lives and now our family is met with the overwhelming challenge of moving forward without him.
I went to high school with Mike and while I didn't know him well, what I do remember about him was he was a kind-hearted, genuine person, who was well-liked by everyone. We sang in the choir together, talked about horse racing, and had a few classes together, but he was the kind of guy who always had high energy and was always positive.
