Free Agent Safety Justin Simmons Shows Interest In Joining Philadelphia Eagles’ Defense
As the Eagles continue to lose free agents, one free agent wants to come to Philadelphia and reunite with Vic Fangio.
Speaking on the Talkin’ Ball podcast with Pat Leonard, free agent safety Justin Simmons says playing in Philly would be 'high on the list. ' Simmons listed getting the chance to work with Fangio and Eagles defensive back coach Christian Parker, who was also in Denver, in addition to knowing the terminology makes Philadelphia an attractive landing spot.

Simmons spent last season in Atlanta with the Falcons and was in Denver with the Broncos, including when Fangio was the head coach.
"To have an opportunity to go play in Philly, especially reuniting with Vic and CP, is high on the list.”
The Eagles are in need of a safety after trading C.J. Gardner-Johnson to Houston on Tuesday. They do have a few in-house options, including Sydney Brown, Tristin McCollum, and Lewis Cine.
The team also reportedly was interested in former Chiefs' safety Justin Reed, who ended up getting a three-year, $31.5 million contract with the Saints.
As for Simmons, he is a two-time Pro Bowler and a four-time Second-Team All-Pro in 134 career games, with 32 interceptions. 666 tackles and 4.5 sacks in nine seasons.
