Gagner: Giroux Doesnt Get Enough Credit

Sam Gagner's goal in the Overtime shootout Wednesday night sealed the win for the Flyers over the Capitals.  The win gives the Flyers a big boost in their chase to make the NHL Playoffs.

Gagner joined The Sports Bash and praised Flyers Captain Claude Giroux for what he does to help the team win games:

"I dont think you really appreciate Giroux's game as much as you should until you play with him. You know being a teammate of his now, he touches every area of the game, he's part of our penalty kill, our power play, goes takes face offs for us, leads by example with his work ethic and his passion. I don't really think he gets enough credit around the league, he's obviously been an All-Star, you know he's won certain awards but until you play with him I don't think you really understand what he brings. He's a guy who does all the little things well, he's played in all situations, he scores big goals, can't really say enough about him"
