Since 2016, Garden State Beer Company has been offering South Jersey "A Beer For Everyone" thanks in large part to their unique approach to the beer-making process. Jason Stairs has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Penn State University and Carisa Stairs had a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, which means they bring a scientific perspective to the Craft Brewing process. Their focus, along with Head Brewer Cole Branson, is on the beer's number one ingredient: the Water! Bringing a Chemistry background and scientific approach to the brewing process has resulted in some of the most drinkable Craft Beers on tap in all of Atlantic County.

When you arrive at Garden State Beer Company, one of the first things you notice is the layout of their large tasting room and the adjacent brewing area. The setup combines the best attributes of different other South Jersey Breweries into what I would say is one of the most ideal I've ever been to. With the extensive seating options in a spacious indoor Tasting Room plus a wooden large bar stationed in front of the taps, this is a great blend of classic Microbreweries with modernized styling.

Whether you want to grab a Flight or Pint to drink, there are 16 brews on tap at Garden State Beer Company which are made with fresh, local ingredients from other small businesses in the area. After sampling all of them, here are my favorites:

*Blue Jersey (5.0% ABV, German American Wheat)                                                     -This is a refreshing brew with a splash of blueberry flavor blended with the crisp hops. If you are not a fan of IPAs or heavier beers, this American Wheat Brew is a great choice to drink any time of year.

*Cook's Corner Coffee Cream Ale (5.2% ABV, Cream Ale)                                           -You know that fresh scent of coffee beans being brewed first thing in the morning at your favorite local coffee shop? Well, THAT is the same pleasant scent you get from this beer thanks to the infusion of coffee into this delightful Cream Ale. This is a smooth and drinkable brew that I can imagine drinking on a cool South Jersey night.

*Galloway Golden (5.0% ABV, Blonde Ale)
-After just one sip you will find out why this is one of the staples at Garden State Beer Company. This refreshing Blonde Ale has a great balance of crisp hops that makes this very easy to drink and I could see myself having it with dinner.

*Absecon Bay (5.0% ABV, Session IPA)
-If you like IPAs with crisp flavors, then you should try this brew featuring a great blend of citrus and malts mixed with hints of yeast and floral scents. This may be one of the best IPAs in all of South Jersey and it's immediately one of my favorites.

*Garden State Mule (6.0% ABV, Seltzer)
-While I am not typically a fan of Seltzer Brews, this is definitely not in the same mold as your mainstream Seltzer you can buy at the liquor store. Not too much carbonation and lacking any overbearing sugary flavors, the Garden State Mule is a refreshing drink that makes me think of summertime with hints of cherry and lime flavors when you drink it.

But one of the coolest options to drink at Garden State Beer Company, something that is not offered at many other breweries, is that they can MIX what you order from the tap! How about blending two Cream Ales together or Galloway Golden with Blue Jersey or how about one of their Seltzers with their Nor'Easter East Coast IPA? Whatever you want, they can pour it in a Pint or fill a Crowler Can to-go, you get to create your own customized brew. Plus, the people who work at Garden State Beer Company have their own recommendations for what you can mix and match from what is on tap.

So whether you are going to try their variety of brews, bring a group to one of their Quizzo Nights, or you are going to be a part of The Sports Bash with Mike Gill "Happy Hour Friday" Eagles Party on Friday, August 26th, you will find out that when Garden State Beer Company say "A Beer For Everyone", it is absolutely the truth at their Tasting Room on the White Horse Pike in Galloway!
