Fans of the pizza Squares & Fares, get ready, the pizza shop is about to open to the public.

The long awaited opening of Squares & Fares is here and locals will have a new pizza option in Somers Point.

The former secret pizza shop, which originated in an Egg Harbor Township home is set to introduce itself to South Jersey in their new Somers Point location at 7 East New Jersey Ave. at the old Somers Point Beach Laundromat across from Charlie's.

What started as a secret, underground pizza ring in a Egg Harbor Township home, where you had to know someone to get an order, is set to open on Tuesday, Dec 3.

Fans of the pizza shop would have to order and sometimes wait weeks to get their pizza, no they will be available to the public.

Squares & Fares will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 4-9pm.

They will be taking orders on their website on Sunday's at 7pm.

According to their social media page, they will be offering their traditional square pizzas for the time being, until they are ready to handle more volume, but added the menu will be expanding in the near future.

I have never been one of the fortunate ones who have tried the pizza, but I have heard nothing be great things, and I will certainly be over there to check them out when they open. In addition to their pizza, I've heard tremendous things about their cookies.
