GM Howie Roseman indicated free agent DeSean Jackson has a "bright future" and the Eagles are fortunate to have a player of his "magnitude" on their team.

Here is more from Geoff Mosher of the Wilmington News Journal on what Roseman had to say today: (http://blogs.delawareonline.com/eagles/2012/02/16/roseman-back-to-business/)

Roseman touched on how the Giants winning the Super Bowl effects the way the Eagles operate this off season,  the teams evaluation of defensive players, the future of Asante Samuel and the teams interest in Randy Moss.
Roseman also emphasized that last year's free agent spending spree was an exception to the franchise's draft-and-develop philosophy.
Saying:  “Last year, you went into draft not really knowing what was going to go on in free agency, not really knowing what players were going to be available, not knowing how much they were going to get in free agency,” he said. “So you really weren’t sure if you were going to go out in free agency and be able to fill a spot. So, I think that kind of factored a little bit into your thinking when you’re drafting last year."

For me on DeSean Jackson's future, listen to the Sports Bash with Mike Gill and follow the show on twitter (@973espn) and follow Geoff Mosher (@geoffmosher) for more on Free Agency.
