
Nursing Aide in South Jersey Charged in Sexual Assault of Elderly Resident
Berlin, N.J. — A nursing aide at a rehabilitation center in Camden County has been charged with sexually assaulting an elderly female patient after police say he confessed during an interview with detectives.
57-year-old Frantz Louis of Sicklerville was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault of an incapacitated or helpless victim and fourth-degree endangering another person. He is being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing.
Berlin Police say they were called to the Berlin Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center on the afternoon of July 3rd.
Officers met with the victim and her power of attorney, who reported that the woman had been sexually assaulted by a staff member.
Over the following days, detectives interviewed potential suspects. On July 13th, Louis allegedly confessed during an interview.
