- She admitted to having sex with a Fort Dix inmate and exchanging sexually explicit photos and messages
- She faces up to 15 years in prison
A Middlesex County woman has admitted to sexually abusing an inmate at FCI Fort Dix earlier this year.
Earlier this week, 27-year-old Jordan Pensak, who was a corrections officer at Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual abuse of an individual in federal custody.
According to federal authorities, Pensak had a consensual sexual relationship with an inmate at Fort Dix, a low-security federal correctional institution in Burlington County, and had sex with him in January.
Pensak and the inmate also exchanged sexually explicit pictures and messages over social media and apps, facilitated by the inmate's use of two contraband cell phones while in custody at the facility.
Pensak admitted to having a sexual relationship with the inmate in text messages sent to multiple people, including family members of the inmate. In one of those communications, Pensak raised concerns that she might be pregnant with his child.
She now faces up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Sentencing is scheduled for February 10th.
