This Campbell’s Soup Is Gone In New Jersey & Everywhere
Did you know that Campbell Soup Company’s headquarters are located in Camden, New Jersey?
Have you noticed that the Campbell’s original condensed New England Clam Chowder soup is no longer available on your grocery store shelves?
Campbell's Condensed Soup Was Revolutionary
This has been a fan-favorite for generations. Condensed soup was developed by John T. Dorrance, an employee of the Campbell's Soup Company, in 1899.
Campbell’s successfully removed most of the water before packing their product in smaller cans. This was also genius as it made it easier to transport a product and much easier for the consumer to handle in smaller batches.
I love Campbell’s Condensed Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese Sandwich
The combination is delicious and so darn satisfying.
I add 1 can of milk … not water to the Campbell’s Condensed Tomato soup. It gives it a rich, velvet texture and taste.
Yes, I dunk each bite of the accompanying grilled cheese sandwich into the Campbell’s Tomato soup. The flavors blend with each other perfectly.
For Those Who Loved The Old Campbell’s Condensed New England Clam Chowder
Campbell’s still sells condensed cream of potato soup, which appears to be the former New England Clam Chowder, without the clans.
I saw online on a chat page that you can add a can of chopped clams to the condensed cream of potato soup and recreate the now discontinued product.
Campbell’s Does Still Make …
Both the Chunky New England & Manhattan Clam Chowders, as well as a Chunky Old Bay seasoned clam chowder.
Other Campbell’s Condensed Soup Favorites
Cream of Chicken and Cream of Mushroom, which are used for great chicken dishes and green bean casserole.
Did You Know …
That Campbell’s now owns the famous snack company Pepperidge Farms?
However, the core of Campbell’s continues to be soup!
