Jacksonville Jaguars Draft Millville’s LeQuint Allen, Add South Jersey Talent to Running Back Room
The Jacksonville Jaguars returned to Millville to help add depth to their running back room.
During the 2019 NFL Draft, the Jaguars selected former Millville running back Ryquell Armstead from Temple University. Armstead played two seasons with the Jaguars, rushing 50 times for 188 yards, adding 17 catches for 170 yards and two scores.

Fast forward to 2025, and Jacksonville selected former Millville star LeQuint Allen out of Syracuse in Round 7.
Allen will have a good shot to contribute as a rookie as a versatile running back who can run and catch the ball. He joins Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby in the Jacksonville running back room, but could have a chance to contribute right away.
Allen celebrated the moment with family and friends, who were on hand when he got the call from Jacksonville.
