The Eagles confirmed a report that TE James Casey underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery.

Mike Garafolo, USA Today was first with the report.

Garafolo also reported that Casey will miss the remainder of OTAs, but should be ready for training camp in July.

The Eagles released RB Miguel Maysonet earlier this week and signed TE Will Shaw, presumably to take the place of the injured Casey.

Casey signed a 3-year, $12 million contract with the Eagles in the off season after spending his first four seasons with the Texans.

The Eagles currently have 5 tight ends on their roster, including 2nd round pick Zach Ertz who is not with the team.
