A few hours after the Eagles agreed to a new deal with Jason Peters in conjunction with his move to Left Tackle, Philadelphia's starting Right Tackle get a restructure of his contract:

Lane Johnson signed a contract extension in 2019 valued at 72 Million with 25 Million fully guaranteed; a restructure could take some of that non-guaranteed money and pay to Johnson upfront as a signing bonus as part of the restructure

This will be the second time that Lane Johnson has restructured a deal with the Eagles; back in 2016 when Johnson was suspended for 10 games there was a stipulation his contract at the time that stated if he was suspended he would loose his guaranteed money, which at the time was projected to be a loss of 25 million dollars.  During the offseason after the Eagles won the Super Bowl, Johnson restructured his contract to create Salary Cap flexibility for Philadelphia.

Lane Johnson is entering his eight season as the Eagles starting Right Tackle after being selected as the Fourth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.  Johnson has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times and was a NFL First Team All-Pro member in 2017.
