In a surprise move on Sunday, Eagles starting right tackle Lane Johnson is on the inactive list for their game against the Chiefs for a personal matter.

Johnson was listed as a full participant on Friday with an ankle injury. There is a possibility that Jack Driscoll now moves from right guard out to right tackle and Nate Herbig moves in to play right guard

In a move that should not come as much of a surprise, the Eagles are moving Landon Dickerson over to start at left guard today for this home game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Initially it was announced that Jack Driscoll, who is getting his first action of the season, would start at right guard.  That might change with the surprising news on Johnson.

Driscoll appeared in 11 games last season, starting four, mostly as a right tackle in place of Lane Johnson. He missed the last month of the season with an MCL injury.

He was graded as the team's second best pass blocker in 2020, per Pro Football Focus.

Dickerson and Driscoll are part of an Eagles offensive line that is already going through changes. Brandon Brooks is on the injured reserve, with Driscoll now starting in his place. Left tackle Jordan Mailata is still out with a knee injury, with Andre Dillard starting in his place and Dickerson is moving to left guard in place of Isaac Seumalo.

Now we'll wait to see who gets the call in place of Johnson.

Here is the rest of the Eagles inactives.
