Lifeguard Races, Phillies Baseball And Eagles Training Camp Highlight The Locker Room Weekend

The Locker Room with Billy Schweim will be broadcasting Live from the Beach in Wildwood for the 2026 edition of the Dutch-Hoffman Memorial lifeguard races. If you can’t make it to the races, you can catch all the action from 6-8pm on 97.3 FM ESPN radio along with streaming live on my YouTube channel. It’s the first big lifeguard race where all South Jersey beach patrols will meet for the showdown.

The Phillies are in a bona fide slump!! They are 3-9 since the MLB All-star break, dropping all four series. Phillies First Baseman Bryce Harper has indicated that the team “Needs Help” heading towards the trade deadline. The Phillies head to Baltimore for a weekend series against the Orioles. The Orioles are currently 53-56, 11.5 games out of first place in the American League East. The Locker Room will be giving away four tickets plus a parking pass to the Phillies vs Blue Jays game on Sunday, Aug 9th. Tune in to find out how to win! 

The Eagles reported for training camp this week, and they are back on the Practice Field. It won’t be long before the first pre-season game on Saturday, Aug 15th at 7pm in Baltimore against the Ravens. Things will get really interesting when the Birds Fly north for joint practices against A.J. Brown's New England Patriots to be followed by the Birds second pre-season game on Saturday night  August 22nd at 7pm at Gillette Stadium. The Locker Room with Billy Schweim will cover it all this weekend.
