Mainland high alum Osun Osunniyi is about to put his name in the record books.

The St. Bonaventure freshman is just one block away from becoming the schools all-time single-season leader in blocked shots. He currently has 81 blocks in 31 games this season for the Bonnies.

He already is the A-10 and nations leader among all freshman this season, averaging 2.6 per game. With his 7’8” wingspan, which is just two inches less than Mo Bamba, who has the largest wingspan of any NBA player, he could have a future in the NBA if he continues to erase shots at that rate.

The former Mustang, averaged 14.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game as a senior in Linwood.
