Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins logged onto Twitter late Tuesday night to make clear he is not the anonymous player that criticized Carson Wentz and the offense to ESPN's Josina Anderson last week.

Speculation that Jenkins has been a source of the anonymous critiques of Wentz arose after the veteran mentioned Nick Foles taking over when discussing what saved the 2018 season.

Many fans and media members alike took the comments as Jenkins saying Foles is better for the team than Wentz.

An offense vs defense feud was drawn up with Jenkins also making headlines Monday when he denied players were showing up late to meetings and practice like Lane Johnson said they were.

His late night tweet appears to be denying these narratives.

Perhaps instead Jenkins meant the change from an injured quarterback to a healthy one was a positive?

After all, Wentz did play the majority of the season with a fractured back.
