While the NFL seems intent on pushing forward with proceeding as if veterans will report to camp July 28, it doesn't seem that all the players are on board with that timeline.

"The NBA is a lot different than the NFL because they can actually quarantine all of their players, or whoever is going to participate," Jenkins said on CNN Thursday morning.

Jenkins mentioned the amount of players, coaches and staff around NFL that will be able to come and go to the facility, and live their lives.  He mentioned a "trust system" where you need to count on others to social distance while they are away from the team facility, and that it could also put players families at risk.

That issue is just one example of the COVID-19 related issues he is concerned about when talking about a NFL return.

"The risk has to be, really, eliminated before I would feel comfortable with going back."
