For the first time in 13 years, a Boy's Basketball Player at Middle Township High School has reached the 1,000 Points Scored mark which makes him only the 15th player in the school's history to reach this elite mark of success.

Needing 15 points to reach the milestone, Jermaine "Bubba" McNeil scored 18 points on Monday Night in the Middle Township Panthers' 71-32 victory over Millville.  The Senior McNeil was joined by five other 1,000 1,000-point scorers from Middle Township High School Basketball history for a photo and ceremony :

Joining Middle Township Boy's Basketball Head Coach LaMarr Greer and Girls' Basketball Coach John Leahy alongside Bubba McNeil were Charles "Boo" Farrow, Marcus Harmon, and Lauryn Fields.

Last season, Bubba McNeil led the Cape Atlantic League in Three Pointers Made while his Middle Township Boys' Basketball won the South Jersey Group 2 Sectional Title. This season, McNeil is rated as one of the Top Point Guard for the 2024 Class by Prep Hoops and is top ten in the Cape Atlantic League in Three Pointers Made this season.

The Middle Township Panthers lead the Cape Atlantic League in Scoring (68.4 PPG) this basketball season and with a 15-2 record are one of the best boys' basketball teams in South Jersey.  But Bubba McNeil does not lead the Panthers in scoring this year, it is his younger brother Jamir McNeil scoring 14.7 Points Per Game.  Very cool that the brothers get to share in High School Basketball success together at one of the best basketball programs in South Jersey at Middle Township.
