Fatal Shooting at Mill Dam Park in Mount Holly Leaves Man Dead

A South Jersey man was shot and killed at Mill Dam Park, 155 Wollner Drive in Mount Holly, at around 5:45 p.m. Monday evening.

According to reports, police arrived at the scene and saw the victim, who was in his 20s, shot in the back. He was the father of a young girl.

"We understand how concerning incidents like this are for our residents," the Mount Holly Township Police Department said in a social media post. Please know that your safety remains our top priority, and we will share additional updates as soon as we are able."

Police Response and Investigation

Police are investigating the motive of the shooting. No arrests have been made, and the police have not released any information at this time.

"We want to assure the community that our officers and detectives are working diligently to bring clarity to this situation," the Police Department continued.
