They also used Ahrefs to tally up search volumes across 110 search variations to determine which word people from New Jersey struggled with the most.

So, with all of that in mind, what’s the supposedly tricky word that people from New Jersey are having trouble pronouncing?

According to Google Trends data, the most mispronounced word in New Jersey is ‘Primeval’, and we’re one of two states in the entire country that have trouble saying that word, which is pronounced, pry-MEE-vul.
