Ocean City Local Wins Frozen Four
The NCAA Division 1 Men's College Hockey Tournament culminates each year with the Frozen Four that broadcasts on ESPN television; It is the equivalent to the NCAA Tournament College Basketball Final Four. This year the Frozen Four was held in Pittsburgh with The University of Massachusetts ( UMass) Minuteman and the St. Cloud State Huskies played in the National Championship game with UMass winning 5-0. A local kid with a passion for hockey, Colin Felix is a Junior defenseman from Ocean City, New Jersey, was a member of UMass first ever National Championship! Colin, at 6’1” and 193 pounds, has started in every game for the last three seasons beginning with his Freshman year and the now Junior is a solid defenseman. We will get a chance to meet this local Champion on Saturday in The Locker Room.
Over the last several days, the Sixers seem to be the only Philly Sports team winning games and we will discuss why this weekend!
On Saturday’s show The Locker Room with Billy Schweim we will talk with the aforementioned Colin Felix who hails from Ocean City about winning the National Championship and the hard work that went into getting there.
