With the offseason looming, the Philadelphia Eagles have a decision to make regarding a couple of free agents.

One is on slot corner Nickell Robey-Coleman, who they singed last year to a one-year deal.

Pro Football Focus has Robey-Coleman ranked as the 14th-best free agent cornerback.

The eight-year veteran enters free agency after a disappointing year where he recorded 44 tackles. He had a solid 2019 with the Los Angles Rams, and was Pro Football Focus' No. 19 cover corner out of 128 qualifiers during that season.

Robey-Coleman appeared in 15 games this season and has missed just two games in eight NFL seasons.

Despite a poor season, he came with some high expectations, so he might be someone that new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon might be interested in bringing back if they can get him at a cheap price.

If he is retained, he could battle for the slot corner spot with Avonte Maddox if the Eagles add another corner in free agency or the draft to play opposite Darius Slay.  Maddox struggled as an outside corner, but could benefit from playing in the slot.
